Trading Operations Analyst

We have an urgent requirement for one of our clients, based in London who are looking for a Trading Operations Analyst. The Trading Operations are responsible for providing technical and operational support and services to external and internal clients, this is also to work closely with the main technology and service providers. You will ideally have derivatives experience and be comfortable working in a technology/operations environment.

Responsibilities:-

Perform several operational activities and provide first level support for any queries received from the clients.
Good understanding of trading venues including OTC markets and knowledge of STP solutions.
Ensure smooth and orderly running of the market through maintenance of participant and instrument reference data, market control actions, post trade operations and market communications.
Support client on-boarding activities
Assist with first level technical, functional and operational client support dealing with a range of areas including FIX and market data
Support trading participants, index licensees, market data vendors, technology suppliers, central counterparties and independent software houses
Monitor the performance of the index business in relation to the frequency and accuracy of calculation (variance from last price) and the distribution of index price feeds and data files to licensees and vendors
Collect client requests and work closely with various technology providers to ensure delivery

Requirements:-

Highly motivated team player with demonstrable integrity
Knowledge of the operations and functionality of a derivative markets, derivative contracts and central counterparty clearing operations
Over 2 years of industry experience and expertise and a proven track record in successfully performing such a role
Troubleshooting, problem-solving and customer service skills
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills
Competent in use of Office related software; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
