Our client, a large group are currently looking to appoint a ERP System Specialist to work out of their office in North Cumbria. For candidate with over an hour commute, they are open to home based contract, some home working, mileage expensed and are open to expensing accommodation where needed. Job Description The Job To analyse, design and implement a replacement ERP system. A member of the core ERP Programme team – working with an ERP software partner organisation, business unit stakeholders, and an in-house IT team. The role spans the full lifecycle: business process analysis; data analysis; application function configuration & customisation; business system implementation; and, end-user support. The Role Technical skills: ERP system functional knowledge and implementation experience (ERP systems: Microsoft AX or Microsoft D365 F&O desirable) Deep experience of industry processes in at least one sector: retail; finance; manufacturing; logistics Cloud deployment: experience of SaaS; Cloud; and, D365 F&O Online is desirable Full ERP lifecycle experience, and knowledge of phased & ‘big-bang’ implementations Extensive background in project delivery and working within structured frameworks Prioritisation & working to deadline: To demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines To demonstrate the capacity to work across multiple projects and workstreams To have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills Communication and problem solving: To shape, prepare and facilitate workshops and presentations To define business and application processes To solve problems and seize opportunities without waiting to be told To present business process and system information in a form that’s easy for the business to understand People engagement: To understand the drivers and pressures of business roles & responsibilities To see business process and system usage from a business perspective To escalate issues that require senior management input in a timely manner Business focus: The ability to focus on the business outcomes, understanding the impact of change on the business Identify options to advise business stakeholders on the pros and cons of a range of solutions Working with the business as the ‘client’ in an advisory and supportive manner Continuing development: To take personal responsibility for development, identifying opportunities and undertaking any course or training required for further development Report to the Programme Manager/Project Lead with timely and accurate information You may be required to perform additional tasks and responsibilities in line with the needs of the business For a confidential discussion contact Mark Connor on 07811335466 This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/87832896
