39 hours per week.
Salary: £22,523 + £1,000 (Team Leader Allowance) this will rise after one year’s successful employment to £23,101 + £1000.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader in our Boost Pathway Services which provides life skills training and on-going support to young people leaving care until they are 25 years old. It also provides up to 10 units of supported housing and 2 training flats.
As well as working as Team Leader in this busy but small team, you will support the wider Children & Young People’s Team by providing hands on support in our Child Contact Service at least one Saturday in four (a day off in the week will be given on these weeks). This service provides children with a safe and enjoyable space to spend quality time with their non-resident parent or family member.
As Team Leader you will work closely with the Children & Young People’s Manager to collect statistical data when required for measurement of service delivery and to prepare reports for the Local Authority and Professional Agencies. You will also use service user feedback to help develop strategies to implement changes for continuous improvement.

You should be able to demonstrate:
- A knowledge of homelessness and the effects this has on families and young people.
- Experience of benefits system, housing and tenancy law.
- The ability to demonstrate an understanding of safeguarding children and adults, promotion of their wellbeing and multi-agency working
- At least 2 years’ experience of working directly with young people.
- Be a highly driven individual who shares our values and who has the passion to help us to improve the lives of our clients.
- Be in a position to be flexible with their working hours to suit the needs of the services.
