Job Title: Business Development Manager- IT/Telecoms
Salary: ??36,000 + Commission
We are looking for a self-driven and ambitious Inside Sales/Business Development Manager with 2-4 years of experience within IT/Telecoms sales. You will have a passion for uncovering new business opportunities and the drive needed to fit into this small fun team.
You will use your exceptional communication and networking skills, your systematic approach to contacting prospective clients, and your technical and business understanding to continually fill a pipeline of clients that you will then work with to convert into happy customers.
Some of what you will be doing:
- Identify the needs of the customer and provide detailed information about the technical specifications of the hardware/software on offer.
- Check inventory to ensure orders are in stock.
- Advise customers on technical matters and recommends appropriate computer configurations.
- Negotiate price for the sale.
- Provide technical support after merchandise is purchased.
- Construct sales pitches and presentations.
- Respond to pre-qualification questionnaires or information to tender documents.
Ideally, your skills and experience will include:
- 3 years of sales experience within IT & Telecoms
- Affinity with products from Avaya, HP, Lenovo, Polycom, Logitech, Cisco, would be highly beneficial
- Enthusiastic, tenacious, and ready to quickly develop an understanding for prospective customers.
- A pro-active and focused attitude, the capability to work autonomously, and independently.
- It would be a plus if you have purchasing experience and knowledge of potential suppliers.
- Willingness to travel across the UK (and at times internationally)
