Digital Development Manager

Our client has an opportunity to add a leader into their Digital Operations team. Accountable for the efficient running and delivery of digital change and BAU within the Digital Experience team the Digital Development Manager will ensure brand positioning, and make sure product and service propositions are appropriately represented and commercial objectives achieved; you will play a huge part in leading the Digital operation. Key to the role will be delivering best practice across workflow, data inputs, campaign set up practices, conversion tag applications, optimisation practices, tools, standards and reporting.
The role will:
Ensure the efficient running of digital services, defining and delivering best practice across workflow, data inputs, campaign set up practices, conversion tag applications, optimisation practices, tools, standards and reporting
Lead the first line of defence activities in the areas of team functional responsibility in line with risk management frameworks
Coordinate and manage delivery of branded digital content across all products, services and brand messaging ensuring it is performance optimised and reflects the organisations brand guidelines, experience differentiator, mission and vision
Facilitate the successful transition of digital change initiatives into BAU Effective resource planning, management, reporting and coordination of activities to deliver improvements
Ensure 3rd party contracts and SLAs reflect business requirements (where required).
Identifying process, reporting and technology inefficiencies within the overall Digital Operating Model and working with the Head of Digital and Heads of Technology to build and deliver the improvement programme and roadmaps
Oversee incidents in conjunction with the Incident Management team and prioritise workload and team resource to manage request and incident volumes
Key Skills And Experience:
Must have extensive experience in digital operations.
Must have worked in regulated environment, ideally financial services, with an understanding of cyber, data and resilience regulation.
Technically proficient across digital technologies, capable of challenging and inspiring their team technically
Strong understanding of web analytics tools
Must have worked with agile frameworks and continuous deployment practices (Scrum, Kanban, Jira etc)
Experience in leading the identification, formation and deployment of new processes
Track record of successful management of operational and technical risk using structured approaches, effective controls and strong decision-making
