A role has arisen for a Procurement Assistant to join our team whilst also undertaking a ‘Commercial Procurement & Supply’ Level 4 apprenticeship. You will achieve a L4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) which is part way towards the full CIPS professional qualification.
Apprenticeships are for all ages. They are a great way to gain recognised industry qualifications and earn a salary at the same time.
We are looking to recruit a hard-working and enthusiastic team player. A professional, consistent and friendly attitude with great communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will be proactive and will be able to use their initiative and work independently. You must be able to demonstrate aptitude for commercial work and negotiation.
Duties include running and supporting tender and quotation processes, resolving queries, providing advice and guidance, maintaining supplier records, maintaining the supplier and contract registers, providing administrative support and carrying out price evaluations.
