My client is a local authority, partnering with Michael Page to add to their Analytics function
The successful BI Developer will be
Working with the business to implement Tableau software and the associated support of a growing internal user community with the goal of driving performance, policy, intelligence and research capabilities.
Providing ongoing support of report development and statutory returns and will need demonstrable experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
A key member of the IT & Digital, Information System Team, and will contribute to the delivery of the team's work programme - helping to drive change through improvements in data literacy and culture.
The successful BI Developer will
-Be experienced and understand data management best practice
-Have worked with enterprise Tableau implementation, including the use of Tableau Server
-Possess experience of working with Microsoft SQL Server Databases, strong SQL skills and creating reporting solutions;
-Be an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills
-Have excellent negotiating skills, ability to influence and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders
-Come with the confidence to challenge the status quo and develop creative solutions to complex problems
Basic salary of ??40k - ??45k pa plus benefits, in addition to remote working options and excellent progression opportunities
