A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for an experienced Second Line Analyst for a 3 month contract with a major transportation client in central Manchester to start ASAP, earning ??16.23 per hour PAYE.
Your new role
You'll work in a team of Second Line Analysts earning ??16.23 per hour, being point of contact and providing responsive technical support for IT related queries. You will be managing a 2nd line support queue and ensure ticket allocation, vetting and resolution is carried out in accordance with documented guidelines. With a high level of accuracy, you will track incident details on Service Management tools, and you will escalate incident trends to ensure prompt action. As someone who is proactive and technical, you will assist other areas and work to improve Service Operations.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in an IT Support role is essential, with extended knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems, MS Exchange and Office productivity suite of applications. You will ideally also have working knowledge of mobile hand-held technologies including Blackberry and Apple IOS devices. An understanding of other Service Management disciplines (eg configuration, change, problem, operations, capacity, availability, performance etc.) as well as VOIP and contact center systems is an advantage.

You will be working from central Manchester for a reputable company from Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, while earning a salary of ??16.23 per hour.
