End User Computing Technical Lead - Design, Delivery, Strategy, SCCM - ??60k + bonus - York
End User Computing Technical Lead opportunity for an organisation looking to super-charge their communication and collaboration ability. This is an internal role as part of a large IT team and you will take responsibility for the strategy, design and implementation of a wide range of End User Computing platforms and services. Initially you will analyse the current state of those platforms and recommend appropriate solutions to the organisation. Some of this will involve the merger of systems as well as on-boarding new offices/organisation to the business. As the End User Computing Technical Lead you will work very closely with the Architecture team and 3rd parties on solution design and delivery. End User Computing includes collaboration tools, converged technology/unified communications, telephony and contact centre technologies too.
As the EUC Technical Lead you will have extensive experience of a range of End User technologies and platforms. Strong experience of SCCM would be highly advantageous as the organisation has 3 SCCM solutions across 3 companies and is looking to consolidate to one solution. The organisation is not specifically looking for experience in telephony however if you had any it would be a bonus. You must have hands on experience of the design and implementation of these platforms and ideally will be able to create a strategy and roadmap for them also. Strong stakeholder experience is a must as the role will interface with senior management, other members of the IT team as well as end users.
EUC Technical Lead key skills
- Extensive experience of End User Computing and associated technologies (unified comms, O365, Telephony etc)
- Must be an End User Computing specialist, this is not a generalist role.
- Ability to design, implement and support those platforms
- Ability to create strategy and roadmap for EUC systems
- Strong stakeholder experience - ESSENTIAL
- Be very customer focused
- Can work with both technical and non-technical people
