The Special Educational Needs and Academies Trust (SENDAT) is a Multi Academy Trust focusing on specialist provision and special schools. Its core aim is to provide for the continuum of special needs across the Eastern region.

We now seek an inspirational and visionary leader who is self-motivated and keen to be involved from the very start in setting up a new Special Free School, as part of SENDAT.

This exciting new addition to the Trust opens in January 2022 and will provide for 100 students aged 5-16 who have an EHCP for Communication and Interaction needs.

As a Senior SENDAT Leader, you will join the Trust Leadership Group from the outset as an active member and contribute to the success and development of the whole Trust, as well as receiving the support of your fellow-leaders in your role as Head of this exciting new provision.

All members of SENDAT Leadership Teams are responsible personally and collectively for supporting students in becoming confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens.   All SENDAT schools and provisions continually work towards becoming trauma informed and mentally healthy places for all.

As part of the SENDAT, we offer:

  • Relocation assistant (where applicable)
  • Ongoing professional development
  • A range of employee benefits including Healthcare plan and Cycle2Work
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment
