IT Support Engineer
A wee bit about the company
They're a highly regarded Scottish Managed Service Provider with an extensive client base spread across the Central Belt to the Highlands. They're in an excellent position business wise and are adding new clients at an incredible rate!
You will be joining a team of around 7 Engineers tasked with the support of around 60 Networks, 200 Servers and thousands of PCs for multiple clients.
You will have an excellent understanding of 2nd line support and ideally some experience of working with multiple clients in an MSP environment. It is important that you have prior experience of working within a busy remote support role.
* Experience of Second Line Support to external customers and internal users alike
* VOIP telephony support
* Desktop, Printer and Network support
* Knowledge of configuring and support of Office365/MS 365
* Networking: LAN/WAN/WLAN
You will be tasked with providing excellent 2nd line support and striving to resolve issues on the first contact. There will be plenty of opportunity to get stuck into exciting projects alongside the BAU work too.
After a successful trial of home working, the company have decided this will be the default position going forward. You can be based anywhere in Scotland with occasional travel to client sites (this will usually be sites that you live closest to).
If you need it, there also an office in Fife available for you to use.
