NPI Programme Manager - Diesel Engines

Based in Stafford a NPI Programme Manager is required on a 12 month contract basis to work for one of the world's leading manufacturers of off-highway machinery and diesel engines.

  • Establish project management plan and use the plan to manage product delivery
  • Plan and manage resources for implementing changes
  • Manage large NPI projects to ensure they are on time, within budget and aligned with the product strategy.
  • Builds relationships with other departments within the NPI program team.
  • Assist in marketing the NPI process to customers.
  • Identifies trends and areas of focus for continuous improvement.
  • Guides and coaches both junior members of the project management team as well as global cross functional areas representatives assigned to the relative NPI program.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 6 to 9 years Project/Programme Management job related experience.
  • Knowledge of Diesel Engines or Electric Power Product Applications
  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills are critical as you'll be required to communication with others outside immediate work group
  • The ability to listen to others.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential as well as project management efficiency.
  • Demonstrate initiative and work with diverse groups to reach consensus is required.
