Nurse - IPC
We are looking for a credible, passionate and enthusiastic registered nurse with demonstrable knowledge and experience in leading infection prevention and control agenda across a large and clinically varied organisation.
The candidate will work with the Director for Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC) to ensure that the Trust continually improves its performance in reducing healthcare-associated infections. You will develop systems that are evidence-based and grounded in best practice and you will work alongside the DIPC to lead on the development of IPC strategy and practice, ensuring engagement of all groups of staff, patients and external organisations in order to deliver great care.
You will be capable of developing strong and positive working relationships with our care group management teams, clinical directors, pharmacists, and our Senior nursing team. You have specific responsibility as Trust decontamination lead and you will provide strategic and operational leadership and professional advice, support and supervision to the IPC team.
To deliver this rewarding and ambitious portfolio you will be required to have significant clinical practice in this field and experience leading an IPC team.
