Salary: Grade 8 ??44,674 - ??52,701 per annum (inclusive of London allowance)

Duties and responsibilities

UCL is looking for Continuous Improvement (CI) Managers who will deliver positive change for the UCL community (professional services staff, academics and students). They will engage, encourage and support colleagues across UCL to collaboratively develop and deliver solutions which address the underlying causes of common problems experienced by the UCL community.

UCL is currently undertaking a transformation of its professional services, with an ambition to provide UCL with effective, integrated and efficient professional services which support UCL's vison to integrate our education, research, innovation and enterprise for the long-term benefit of humanity.

Through their work our CI Managers will be at the heart of developing an improving mindset at UCL and will champion Continuous Improvement across the institution as we mature our CI capability.

This is a permanent role.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role you will be of graduate calibre with degree or equivalent level of experience gained in the work environment. You will also have continued your professional development through training in some form of LEAN, six sigma or other Continuous Improvement methodology.

You will have delivered process improvement activity in a previous role and within a service organisation. You will know how to produce sharp and accurate process maps which are meaningful to colleagues and be able to communicate with colleagues and others in a coaching and facilitative style.
