WE ARE SEEKING TO RECRUIT A NUMBER OF TEMPORARY WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES TO JOIN OUR EXPANDING TEAM BASED AT OUR YORK HOUSE HEAD OFFICE.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is hard-working, efficient and accurate to join one of our core operational teams during a time of growth. This is a temporary role that has the potential to be made permanent.
WHAT’S THE ROLE?
Your responsibilities will include the below:
- Pick and check client orders
- Check and pack client orders
- Complete despatch documentation, where required
- Ensuring the safe handling of client stock, reporting any damaged stock and reporting discrepancies in stock levels
- Practice and maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse
- Follow basic health and safety within the warehouse environment
- Other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for someone reliable and enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to their work. You’ll be a good team player, with great communication skills, who is able to work calmly and accurately under pressure. You’ll have experience of handling a varied workload in fast-paced environment, ideally gained in a warehouse environment.
