We’re looking for a non-executive director who has senior level experience in human resources, workforce development or organisational development, and/or has a clinical background, to join our Board in guiding our workforce to deliver the highest quality care for local people.
We cover a wide geography and our services reach a diverse population. You would join our Trust in ensuring that local people from a variety of backgrounds are engaged and involved in our services, addressing health inequalities through inclusive involvement.
You’ll have the ability to think strategically, act independently, and build strong relationships. Our Trust places great value on working with our partners within the health and care system to achieve shared goals.
You will bring the capability and enthusiasm to support our ambitious vision at a challenging and demanding time for the NHS. You will provide support and constructive challenge to the executive team, and help us to continue to improve the services we deliver. You’ll engage in Board discussions, act as an ambassador for the Trust, and have a passion for delivering excellence.
You will demonstrate experience of working at senior (ideally Board) level in large, complex, customer-focused organisations and systems. Non-executive directors are expected to work a minimum of 3 days per month. However allowing for reading and preparation and other discretionary activity, this is more typically 4-5 days a month.
