Nursery Nurse (Level 3)
Contract term:  Full year 36 hours per week, permanent
Salary FTE:  £17,502 – £20,946 depending on experience
Required start date: Asap
Hours:  Shift pattern – flexibility to work within the hours of 7.30am – 6.15pm Mon – Fri

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic nursery practitioner to join our experienced and friendly team.

To succeed in this role, you will have a passion for Early Years education, promoting learning and development at every opportunity, always seeking new and exciting ways to achieve the best.  You must love working in the outdoor space as we encourage outdoor learning, particularly through our wonderful Forest School.  You will also be full of imaginative ideas for setting up stimulating learning environments, bringing energy to every task with a patient and positive outlook.   

The main duties include:

• Supporting the children in all learning activities and acquisition of skills, including meal and snack times
• Planning and preparing appropriate activities
• Supervising a range of play opportunities, observing and assessing development
• Providing pastoral care
• Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are always adhered to, administering basic first aid (if qualified to do so)
• Maintaining effective working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents, working collaboratively across all areas of Junior School

You will have a recognised childcare qualification to NVQ Level 3 or above with relevant experience.
