Organisation and Workforce Development (OD) Adviser
Temporary 3-4 month contract (possible 3 month extension)
GBP148.05-GBP158.73 per day
Dundee or Edinburgh (Currently Home Based)

Our public sector client are looking for an experienced Organisation and Workforce Development Adviser to join their team on an immediate basis. The OD Adviser is required to lead on developing and consulting of people management policies, as well as supporting OD improvement projects and learning and development activities. This is a full time position working 35 hours a week, 9:00am-17:00pm.

Due to the nature of this role, applicants should have a Basic Disclosure issued within the last 12 months or be willing to apply for one at their own cost.

Experience Required:
Experience in designing, commission, delivering and evaluating learning and development activities
Experience of supporting the design of performance management (appraisal) processes.
Experience of supporting the delivery of projects and strategies covering a broad range of people-related issues, encompassing OD, HR and learning and development.
Experience of developing robust and effective people management policies
Workload planning and prioritisation.
Experience of producing performance reports and contributing to the development of performance metrics.
Skills & Knowledge:
Understanding of key external developments and trends in OD/HR/L&D and the opportunities these offer to the organisation.
Strong facilitation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of internal stakeholders
Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice with ability to develop HR policies and procedures.
Ability to provide positive and constructive challenge.
Excellent communicator and influencer, both verbally and in written form.
Ability to translate plans into action.
Commitment to Equality and Diversity issues.
IT literate, using the most effective methods to communicate and manage information.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and distil key themes from a broad range of complex information.Education & Qualifications Required:
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
CIPD qualified.

Demonstrate understanding of the social and health care agenda.
Ability to coach colleagues to become more effective in meeting organisational requirements
