Are you looking for a job where you can REALLY make a difference by fulfilling people's lives through providing a high level of person-centered care and support? A brand-new opportunity has recently arisen for a Night Support Worker in the Green Hammerton area.

In this role you will be joining a residential home that supports adults with learning difficulties, autism, mental health and challenging behaviour. This service aims to provide each individual with a quality life supporting them to live life as independently as possible.

To be successful in this role you must be a driver with access to your own vehicle. You also must have a genuine passion and level of respect for those who are vulnerable and need support the most. Whether you have previous experience within a similar setting or not, you will be willing to learn through the full thorough training and induction provided. You must be really committed to helping others improve their lives and therefore you will find this role extremely rewarding.

What are the requirements for this role?

No previous experience is required for this position as full training will be provided!
You will have a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
You will need to show you have the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team whilst demonstrating excellent communication skills.
You will be able to show you can display the companies values; provide a person centred care and support service that is all about promoting client choice, show dignity and respect in all aspects of your role, ensure the service you provide is of the highest-quality, have a caring and considerate nature.

Details of the role:

Full Time Position (35 hours per week)
Shifts will be night shifts only
Location: Green Hammerton
Pay rate ??9.85- ??10 p/h

This position is advertised on a temporary to permanent basis where by you will complete a 12-week period with the support of AJ Recruitment, resulting in a permanent position and transferring to our client at the end of the 12 weeks whereby you will be working to a set roster, however there is often the opportunity to work overtime.
