Support Desk 2/3 line help desk engineer
PDQ is a award winning MSP based in the Essex/London area. We are looking to expand our support desk with a 2/3 line help desk engineer
For this role, we are looking for someone with at least 12 months experience, preferably from an IT MSP background.
You will work closely with our Service Desk technicians supporting our clients, by troubleshooting challenging issues and solution-solving in an IT Managed Services environment.
PDQ are customer-focused, our customers expect solutions in a reliable and timely manner.
The ideal candidate would have:
12 months or more commercial experience supporting SME's;
Be able to demonstrate excellent customer service & communication skills;
Familiar with working to SLA's & KPI's to meet customer requirements;
IT Technical skill-set:
The most desired skills for this role include good working knowledge of:
Windows Server technologies
Microsoft 365 - SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Teams
Networking (DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, WiFi)
Virtualisation (Hyper-V - VMware)
Other Advantageous Experience:
Whilst not essential, the lists below are some experience that would be advantageous:
Sophos or Watchguard Firewalls
Hewlett Packard product's
Microsoft Azure Infrastructure
