Up to ??25k + overtime (x1.5)

The role
An exciting IT Services business are undergoing a period of growth due to continued success and require a 1st Line Support Engineer with expertise across Microsoft Cloud and Citrix technologies.

This business is known for their innovative, highly skilled workforce and this is a great opportunity to join a growing cutting-edge business.

The 1st Line Support Engineer will ideally (not essential) have existing experience of working for an IT Solutions Provider/Managed Services Provider and should hold deep expertise across a range of Microsoft and Citrix technologies.

You will be skilled in providing 1st Line support to customers with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot client support incidents, liaising with our clients over the phone, email, web-ex or on client site.
  • Helping customers solve technical issues with their infrastructure
  • Liaising directly with end users and client-side IT stakeholders to resolve any problems
  • Documenting systems and procedures as implemented for and on behalf of customers

Key skills (not all required)

  • Strong Active Directory experience
  • Experience with Citrix solutions such as XenApp and XenDesktop
  • VMware vSphere, XenServer or Hyper-V hypervisor experience
  • Windows Server
  • Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
  • Networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, Routing & Switching
  • An aptitude for learning/progression!

Desirable skills

  • Knowledge of Azure would be nice to have
  • Citrix Cloud
  • NetScaler
