We are recruiting a Social Media Manager (maternity cover) to help bring some of our best content to as big an audience as possible.

The Social Amplification Manager leverages the huge combined reach of our brand social media channels to promote content which informs and engages our audiences and gets them talking.

You'll be a team player and natural collaborator, comfortable working in a fast paced environment. You'll also have an intuitive understanding of how tone changes when engaging with our readers in different ways.

* Someone with an excellent understanding and experience of using social media channels, both to distribute content and communicate with the audience.

* A strong team player and natural collaborator

* A content marketer comfortable working in a fast paced environment and responding quickly to opportunities

* An individual who is hungry to learn and be successful

* Someone with good organisational skills

* Someone able to understand and react to digital analytics


* Excellent knowledge of using social media as a means of reaching audiences

* A team player: able to work closely with digital colleagues across the business

* An excellent grasp of tone and its application in communicating publicly with our audiences

* Experience of working in a newsroom, content/marketing agency or on a digital platform

* A good knowledge of media law and the Editor's Code of Practice

* Strong organisational skills and experience of managing a busy workload within a fast-paced environment

* Experience in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Parsely
