3rd Line Technical Support Engineer
A critical organisation based in the heart of Worcestershire has an urgent requirement for a 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer on a 9 month fixed term contract running until September 2021. The role pays circa ??35K - ??40K and is looking for an immediate starter.
Scope of Work
You will be responsible for carrying out technical remediation activities to the IT estate following the completion of a third-party IT Health Check and will be tasked with the configuration and use of Nessus to Implement a Vulnerability Management process, including scanning and remediation and providing weekly vulnerability updates for management reporting and remediation action plans.
The technology stack consists of Microsoft, Unix, Cisco, Citrix, SCCM, AppSense, VMware, Oracle.
You will operate within an ITIL environment, supported by a medium sized team of varying technical levels and disciplines.
The 3rd Line Engineer
You will have a broad range of technical knowledge across various IT disciplines and previous experience of working with ITHC reports and Vulnerability Management tools to perform essential remediation activities.
You will also be a seasoned Support Engineer skilled in supporting network, hardware, software, and infrastructure. You will have significant experience of Microsoft Products, Network, VMware, Storage and Back-up and various OS environments.
Due to the secure environment, you must have UK residency for the last 3 years for vetting purposes.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a critical organisation on a 9-month FTC although this is highly likely to be extended.
