Java Developer - SRE Tech Lead - Site Reliability - Synchronisation, Distributed Systems

This position is a core technology opening for someone that will lead a group of three senior developers to review the current platform, to improve it's design and architecture to reduce risk, improve performance and fix bottlenecks. The role will be 70% hands-on, 30% mentoring team members.

Profile

Java Developer - SRE Tech Lead - Site Reliability - Synchronisation, Distributed Systems

- Strong commercial experience in Java and with knowledge of relational databases and SQL tuning

- Experience in memory leak analysis, deadlock analysis and prevention, synchronisation, distributed systems, message driven architecture (Web service, REST APIs, Queues)

- Experience setting up and configuring containers and message brokers like ActiveMQ, Kafka or any other message broker

- Passionate about problem solving and performance improvements.
