Senior Java Developer - North East based client - ??65K % bonus + Remot

the Bridge IT are currently recruiting for a number of Permanent senior Java software engineers for a client who are based in the North East (Sunderland) Working for a fantastic client who are working with great technologies to help deliver cutting edge projects. The interview process is remote and the role will be 100% remote working. initially until the office is back open and then you can still work from home 3/4 days a week. You will work with the latest technologies and gain exposure to enterprise level projects creating cutting edge platforms within the cloud environment (AWS and Azure)

My client are looking for a number of Senior Java software engineers to come in and help out with the current workload on a project and new projects coming up in the future. Projects that will involve cutting edge technology migrations into the cloud. The main experience that they are looking for is someone who has fantastic exposure developing in Java and working with Spring Boot, microservices, someone who can work in an agile environment.

If you have any experience with the below that would be beneficial as these are technologies my client are currently working with:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Microsoft Azure
• Jenkins
• React

Essential Skills for the role

• Java
• Spring Boot
• ReSTful
• Maven, JUnit, SQL/NOSQL databases (ideally Oracle) or related Java tools
• Linux
• Scripting
• Jenkins

Other skills for the role:

• Common low level design principles and technical integration skills
• Good understanding of best-practices and anti-patterns
• Keen eye for detail and a desire to continuously improve and produce quality solutions
• Good Design experience (architecture exposure)
• Object Orientated programming
