What you need:
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must hold a current UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing using basic English
- Good levels of flexibility and willing to work alternate weekends
- A commitment to working in the community and who really want to make a positive difference to peoples lives
The Care Workers role will involve:
- Providing personal care and support to clients including washing, bathing and toileting
- Healthcare, including assisting the service user to take medication as appropriate
- Providing practical support and domestic tasks including laundry, cleaning, shopping and preparing and cooking meals
- Accompanying service users in social activities and assist in developing and maintaining the social interests of the individual
