Machine / Packing Operator

An expanding manufacturing company based in Heanor, Derbyshire, currently looking for end of line

Machine / Packing Operators to start ASAP.

Duties:

* Picking and packaging our range of thermoformed plastic food trays; observing and adjusting machine operation; removing jams.
 
  * Product quality checks by comparing packaged product to specifications and samples; reworking or rejecting unacceptable packaging.

* Documents production by completing logs.

* Ensure machine operation is consistent by following operating instructions; identifying breakdowns; report problems to maintenance team.

Candidates must be available to work either on afternoon or night shifts and be flexible to accommodate business needs. 

Training will be given in-house. 

Good eye for detail is required.

Pay rate £7.20 – E7.75 depending on performance & shift allowance.

Experience within a machine operation / manufacturing background would be advantageous.
