LOCATION: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
JOB TITLE: Midday Supervisor
SALARY & BENEFITS: £13,871 per annum pro rata
WORKING HOURS: 7.5 hours a week (11.45-1.15pm) term time only
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire is a Federated Infant and Junior School for children aged 4 to11 years. Both the infant and junior school are rated as ‘Good, with outstanding features in Early Years, Behaviour, Safety and Senior Leadership’.
THE ROLE: The role of the Midday Supervisor will be to look after and support children with additional needs to ensure they have a happy, sociable lunchtime experience!
Key Responsibilities to include:-
  • To collect the children/children from class and supervise them throughout their lunch.
  • To assistant with choosing the child’s lunch and supporting them with the cutting up of food, helping them with their knife and fork etc.
  • To supervise them whilst in the playground/on the field; helping them integrate with other children, playing games with them etc.
  • To escort them back to class at the end of the lunchtime break.
  • To complete any accident reports if the need arises as per the school’s strict accident policies.
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the role of Midday Supervisor will have excellent communication skills, be easy going with a good sense of humour. They will constantly encourage the child/children to aid their social development whilst at school. Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
Key experience/skills essential for the role of Midday Supervisor:
• Must live within a commutable distance of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Must be patient and easy going with a passion to want to help develop the child/children in their early years of their learning.
