JOB TITLE: Assistant Branch Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: Circa £35k per annum Plus company car, pension, laptop, bonus scheme private health, SAYE share scheme, staff discount and various other benefits.

WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday 8:00 – 17:30

THE ROLE: Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day management of a busy operation whilst leading a team of 17 sales and distribution staff to success, ensuring that operational and budget targets are met. In addition to this you will lead by example and take a hands on approach when it comes to being a champion of providing exemplary service and promoting the company’s values.

As the Assistant Branch Manager you will also be tasked with developing the team, you must be able to get the most out of people and will have ideally led a sales team before.
  • Day to day running of the branch
  • Developing and implementing sales plans focussed on gaining new customers and expanding business levels with existing customers
  • Leading by example and promoting company’s business personality.
  • Motivating the team to achieve the branch financial targets.
  • Managing and organising the team to meet operational needs.
  • Actively identifying branch team training needs.

THE CANDIDATE: You will be driven, self-motivated with the ability to drive your team to achieve and exceed targets. You will be proficient in the management of high volume sales data and be able to present this information clearly. Experience within this industry is not essential for this role as our client is really looking for the candidate with the right skills and attributes to succeed in this position.

The successful candidate will ideally have extensive management experience and have a proven track record of leading a team to success.
