Assistant Gardener Position
National Trust Ascott is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic assistant gardener to join our team, maintaining the beautiful gardens at Ascott House, Wing, a National Trust property, to the highest standard.
Applicants must have a passion for gardening and ideally have some experience working in a public/private historic garden. You must hold (or coming to the end of a course of study towards) recognised horticultural qualifications. Certificates for PA1 and PA6 are desirable but not essential.
Applicants must possess practical gardening & horticultural experience. They must be hardworking, enthusiastic, willing to work as part of a team, demonstrate attention to detail, possess a willingness to learn and develop and have a passion for gardening.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a flexible approach to hours and tasks as there will be a requirement to perform some weekend duties.
