Full Time Administration Assistant
£8.00 per hour
We here at ACS are looking for an experienced self motivated individual who would like to join our small friendly firm based in Elland, as part of our administration team.
The ideal applicant must have good communication skills both in person, over the telephone, and in writing. The applicant must be proficient with the use of Microsoft office systems, namely email, word, excel etc. Must have a keen eye for detail and excellent keyboard skills as accuracy is paramount for this role. You must be able to work well under pressure, be able to fit in as part of a small team, and also be able to work using own initiative.
The duties for the vacant position include but are not limited to answering the office switchboard, receiving enquiries from prospective and regular clients, not only over the phone but also via email. You will be responsible of issuing quotes to clients using word and therefore keyboard skills are an essential part of this role, and accuracy is required. The role also involves data input on to our in-house program designed for the issuing of asbestos survey reports. Keeping a written log of all files in numerical order for reference purposes; and the filing away of closed files also in numerical order.
For your information the hours of work would be 9.00pm - 5.00am Monday to Friday with a half hour break for lunch. The total working hours for this post are 37.5 hours per week. This post is initially for a 6 month trial period, and may become permanent for the suitable applicant.
