We are looking to recruit a Waking Night Support Worker to join our Residential Family Centre team located in Southampton (Hampshire) on a full time basis, which will include three to four nights a week. The role will include supporting and assessing vulnerable parents and their children to actively promote and participate in the provision of high standards of physical care, hygiene and wellbeing. To take responsibility for ensuring a safe and nurturing environment where parents and their children can thrive. To work as a part of a team and contribute to the assessment of parental capacity, alongside providing support and advice to parents, whilst also ensuring to work within the national Minimum Standards for Residential Family Centre’s and with the legal and statutory framework as set out by Ofsted.

A Level 3 Diploma in childcare or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.

All applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to use of a car.  All staff will undergo DBS checks at the enhanced level.
