Admin Assistant

9am - 6pm Monday - Friday

£20,000 - £22,000 dependent on experience

A London based research consultancy focused on the Middle East.

The Post

The main responsibilities of the Admin Assistant role are (but not limited to):

  • Diary Management
  • Booking travel
  • Managing office supplies & placing orders when required
  • General office administration including typing, post, proof reading documentation and filing
  • Provide administration support to the Managing Director and Finance & Administration Manager
  • Ensure the smooth daily running of the office
  • Support the administration of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) applications in liaison with the Finance & Administration Manager
  • Organise and maintain electronic and paper admin systems
  • Organising employee holiday forms, sickness forms and other basic HR duties.
  • Basic financial duties including expenses and petty cash
  • Answer incoming telephone calls

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Achieved at least C grade in GCSE (or equivalent) including Maths and English, and preferably have been educated to degree level.
  • Must have previous administrative skills


  • Excellent IT Skills including MS office
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work individually and within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
