Talent Match Champion (Youth / Mentor Programme) - Charity
We are seeking a Bright, Enthusiastic and Self-Motivated individual who can empower and inspire others to make positive changes in their own lives.
As a Talent Match Champion you’ll be trained to be a mentor, who will work in community venues and be responsible for engaging young people to get involved in a project which is all about employment, training and opportunities.

37 Hours per week
£14,013 per annum
You’ll get involved in community engagement, support young people through needs assessments, help them work on action plans, provide one-to-one support, guidance, encouragement, inspiration, and any other support needed to help those young people to move into work and further learning.
You’ll need to be able to work closely with other team members, and network with other projects and services to ensure the young people you work with are supported to access all the different sources of help and development available to them.
There is one role available, which is fully funded and supported by a new Big Lottery Fund programme called Talent Match, which is aimed at increasing the employment prospects of 18 - 24 year old in Kettering and Wellingborough. The project will run until March 2019.
Some experience relevant to the role would be beneficial, although not essential as full training will be provided.
