LOCATION: Kirkham – Easy commute from either Blackpool or Preston


JOB TITLE: Sales Ledger Clerk


SALARY & BENEFITS: Dependent on experience


WORKING HOURS: Full time – Monday + Friday – there will be a requirement to work alternate Saturdays, however this will be a short day, typically until around 11am

THE ROLE:  We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join the company in their Kirkham depot near Preston and Blackpool. As a Sales Ledger Clerk your role will consist of:-

  • Confirming, sorting and filing delivery notes.
  • Ensuring that unconfirmed delivery note listings are dealt with.
  • Ensuring that sales reports and figures are printed on a weekly basis.
  • Handling general customer queries regarding accounts.
  • Cash handling routines.
  • Emailing / posting of invoices.
  • In some instances ensuring that sales staff have copies of delivery notes.
  • Producing monthly reports and supplier statements.
  • Posting and filing invoices.
  • Any other ad hoc administration duties as directed.


THE CANDIDATE:  We are looking for a candidate who has great communication skills who can work cooperatively with the Sales team and someone who is confident when dealing with customers when handling general queries. You will be comfortable working with excel and ideally have some experience within an administrative role.


Key experience essential for the role:- Sales Ledger Clerk (Kirkham) near Preston and Blackpool

  • Experience in an office based / administration role.
  • Great communication skills.
  • A good level of understanding when it comes to Excel and other Microsoft applications.
