Military Aircraft Training Specialist - Aerospace

A Training Specialist with Military Aircraft experience is required to work on a twelve month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Lancashire.

This is a 12 month contract with a leading defence company

A dynamic, experienced Military Aircraft (Jets) technical instructor required to develop courseware and deliver a training programme.

  • Aircraft Safety
  • Fundamentals of electricity
  • Use simplified wiring diagrams
  • Clean jet engines and parts
  • Engine Tracking
  • Preparation of engines for shipping and storage
  • Identify corrosion
  • Construction and operating principles of a jet engine
  • Purpose and operating of:
  • Secondary Power System
  • Ignition System
  • Engine Oil System
  • Engine Fuel System
  • Thrust and Nozzle Actuation System
  • Compressor Airflow Control
  • Anti-Icing System
  • EGT Indicating
  • Fire Warning
  • Air Systems
  • Repair and Maintenance of SPS and Jet Engines
  • Remove and Install SPS, Jet Engine and Components
  • Test, adjust and run SPS, Jet EnginesDefence Instructional Techniques Course
  • Qualification in training delivery (Min QCF Level 3 equivalent)

The role is based in Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds
