My client, a global manufacturing organisation, are looking for an experienced sales representative to join their Industrial Tapes and Adhesives business.
Drive sales growth and customer retention with defined end customers/channel
Achievement of specific sales targets through the following:
Proactively selling the above divisions products via the telephone and various digital means including email and using social selling tools including LinkedIN Sales Navigator
Developing a territory plan to drive sales with nominated accounts
Blueprinting accounts and segmenting based on opportunity
Developing relationships with End Users and or Channel partners
Qualifying leads gained through marketing activity and following through to close
Guiding customers through the sales process from initial contact, creating awareness of features and benefits of solutions in target accounts all the way to closing the sale and providing support post purchase
Acquisition of new customers and greater penetration in existing accounts
Management of specific accounts to drive loyalty and prevent erosion
Working either in collaboration with Territory Managers on a specific territory or being the key point of contact with responsibility for driving sales in identified accounts over the phone and responsible for the sales performance of those accounts.
Blueprinting potential accounts and qualifying leads and opportunities
Management of customer relationships via the phone to encourage loyalty and prevent erosion.
Talking knowledgeably about the business's products and their applications in order to generate sales.
Providing cover for the Territories via the telephone in times of absence.
Achieve best practice in Customer Relationship Management
Keeping an accurate and comprehensive customer database, achieving targets of in excess of 95% data quality.
Recording all customer interactions.
Management of the ordering of promotional stock for customers
Keeping an up to date awareness of the market and competitor trends and developing new working patterns accordingly.
Skills and Experience
Previous inside Sales experience with strong customer focus
Good understanding of the sales process & a proven track record of delivering sales to forecast
Previous experience of working with both CRM tools and other sales acceleration technologies
Knowledge of the relevant market products and competitors
Challenger mind-set, self-motivated, tenacious & driven
Ability to build relationships with external partners eg Channel Partner Sales Reps/Inside Sales people
Strong time management & organisation skills
Ability to prioritise and be flexible in adjusting where necessary
Account Management experience
Siebel CRM experience
Ability to participate in Peer-to-peer coaching activities
Team Player - ability to demonstrate a high level of skill in team-working both with the relevant Business Division, and the Inside Sales Team concurrently
