Customer Service Administrators x 5 for a busy, local Telford company for a period of 5 - 6 months beginning on either the 25th October or 8th November

Temporary assignment from November up to March to assist with peak processing period, providing subscription, membership administration and customer service support

Nature and Scope of Job
1.    Deal with incoming/outgoing calls to members, transfer calls to relevant department when required

2.    Process subscription payments onto membership database – cheque, credit card and direct debit

3.    Update members records – contact details, payment information, employer

4.    Post – open and sort post

5.    Process invalid address returns

6.    Process receipt requests

7.    Send and respond to member emails through outlook

8.    Printing and fulfilment of membership letters

9.    Update customer reports in excel

10.    Prepare processed cheque payments for banking 

11.    Reception cover – receive visitors, calls, pass on messages, accept deliveries

12.    Application form - preparing, scanning and indexing of paperwork

13.    Advise Supervisor/Spectrum Manager if procedure documents provided are inaccurate, need simplifying or updating
14.    Escalate customer complaints to Spectrum Supervisor/Manager

15.    Advise Supervisor/Spectrum Manager if stationery stock has run low

16.    To ensure desk office area is kept clean and tidy

17.    To perform other occasional duties as directed by Supervisors or Spectrum Manager

Essential requirements:
•    Accuracy and attention to detail 
•    Numerate and literate
•    Good communication skills both verbal and written
•    Personable nature, with good telephone manner
•    Ability to work on own initiative
•    Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and excel    

Preferable requirements:
•    Knowledge of Database Administration
•    Knowledge of mail merge
