As a Senior Network Engineer you will be based in Whiteley but will work as part of a wider UK based IP IT team. This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis and the successful candidate will hold, or be eligible to attain, SC clearance.

Playing an important role, you will be designing and planning network communications systems. You will provide specifications and schematics for network architecture, and specific information for hardware and software selection.

You will use a range of tools to implementbusiness solutions which not only meet current client demands but also build infuture requirements. Thereafter, you will test the network design (includinghardware, software and interconnection) and evaluate network capabilities andprovide reporting to offer further enhancements.

To successfully deliver this role, it isessential you are able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of Ciscoswitches/routers (2/3) and Juniper or Palo Alto FW's. You will also havedetailed knowledge and experience of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and WIFI.
