£32,864 - £36,994 + excellent benefits
36.5 hours per week

As an important contributor in delivering our challenging agenda, we now have an opportunity for a qualified Land and Property Surveyor. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of an effective asset management and property management service across the Authority functions.

The role requires an individual who is experienced in ensuring that all surveying and management requirements in relation to mix of residential and commercial land and property assets are met in an effective way whilst securing value for money. The post holder will also be responsible for advising the Authority on land and property strategies in line with Asset Management objectives.

Reporting to the Legal Services Manager and working within the Governance team forming part of the Corporate Services Directorate, the successful applicant will also be accountable for negotiating optimal terms in respect of leases, licences, sales, acquisitions, easements and other land and property interest and to maximise income streams and efficiencies. In addition to this, the post holder will also be required to act as the single point of contact for contract management and liaison with a panel of professional property advisors.
