This company requires an experienced Security Manager to join their existing in house Security team. This is a hands on role and you will be expected to take part in the day to day activities of the Security department alongside managing the function.

The main duties will include:

- Ensure that the business has adequate security in place to protect its employees and assets.
- Recruitment, training and motivation of the team.
- Prepare and coordinate team rotas.
- Review, update and ensure that Security policies and procedures are appropriate for the business.
- Review and ensure that the company's Security systems and equipment operate effectively.
- Management of company vehicle.

The successful candidate will have:

- Substantial experience of managing Security in a similar role.
- Previous experience of successfully managing a team and organising rotas.
- Experience and knowledge of Security systems including the set up and maintenance.
- Experience of implementing appropriate Security policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Must be flexible.
- SIA license not essential but would be advantageous.

Hours of work:
Their working week totals 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, working shifts between the hours of 06.30 - 19.30. The role will also involve being on call on a rota basis.

Salary is up to £35,000 dependent on the candidate's experience.

A DBS check will be carried out and must come clear to be successful in this position.
